Aecon is installing the interior at PotashCorp’s new process mill in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. The scope of work for the project includes the installation of all utilities and equipment for the new mill, including the process piping, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, HVAC, and all processing equipment in the mill.
With a workforce peaking at 1,000 employees, Aecon provides a host of services to major oil sands projects in Fort McMurray, Alberta including SuncorEnergy's New Millennium and North Steep Bank Mines, Syncrude's Base and Aurora Mines, and ConocoPhillips' Surmont Sag D site.
Aecon performed site preparation and early works for the development of a new potash mine near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The work included site grading, construction of temporary roads, preparation of sediment ponds, and layouts for the camp.
Aecon completed the installation of mechanical equipment, process and utility piping systems, and electrical and control systems for PotashCorp’s Picadilly site near Sussex, New Brunswick.
Aecon installed all of the interior structural steel, equipment, piping, electrical and control systems at Thompson Creek’s Endako Molybdenum mine site at Fraser Lake, British Columbia.
